Greetings,

Welcome to English 9! I am excited to get to know all of you this semester. In case you have to attend class virtually, use the Google Classroom app to join the class. Here are the steps:

How to Join Our Virtual Class Using Google Meet in Google Classroom

1. • 1. 1. 1. Open Google Classroom. On your iPad, find and tap the Google Classroom icon to open it.

           2. Select Your Class. Once in Google Classroom, find and tap on our class name to open the class page.

           3. Locate the Google Meet Icon. Look at the top of the class page. You will see a grey camera icon. Tap on the icon to open Google Meet.

           4. Join the Meet. In Google Meet, tap the blue"Join" button at the bottom of the screen to enter the virtual class. Make sure your camera and microphone are ready.

           5. Participate in Class. Once you're in the meeting, participate just like you would in the classroom. Don't forget to mute your microphone when you're not speaking to avoid background noise.

These steps will help you quickly and easily join our virtual class in the event of a Flexible Instruction Day due to inclement weather.

Attention Parents and Students 

The Central Valley School District utilizes PowerSchool for Parents and Students to access all attendance, assignments, and grades.

If you have never logged into PowerSchool before you will need to create an account, in August you received a letter containing your Access ID and Access Password which is required for creating an account. If you do not have the letter, please contact the building office for the information.

Once you have the Access ID and Password, this help page will assist you in creating an account.  

If you have an account but do not remember the password you can click the "Forgot Username or Password" link on the login page.  If you no longer have access to the email address you used to create your account, you will need to contact the building office to have it reset.
