Accessing Homework, Assignments, Tests, and Quizzes Using PowerSchool

The Central Valley School District is moving to PowerSchool for Parents for all grades and assignments in grade levels 6 through 12. In the past you have used PowerSchool to view graded assignments and attendance. You will now use that same account to see up coming homework, assignments, tests and quizzes. If you already have a PowerSchool account you do not need to do anything, just continue to login with the username and password you created and use it to check for upcoming homework, assignments, tests and quizzes. If you have never logged into PowerSchool before you will need to create an account. You received a letter in August containing your Access ID and Access Password. The videos below will walk you through creating and account using that information. If you have an account but do not remember the password you can click the "Forgot Username or Password" link on the login page. If you no longer have access to the email address you used to create your account you will need to contact the building office to have it reset.

Grade level K through 5 parents; PowerSchool will still be used only for grades. Homework, assignments, tests, and quizzes will still be accessed via the teacher websites.

What is PowerSchool for Parents?

PowerSchool for Parents gives parents and students access to real-time information including attendance, grades and detailed assignment descriptions, school bulletins, and even personal messages from the teacher.
