I am Mrs. Wallen, the Athletic Director at Herndon-Barstow, and I am excited to introduce myself to you. I have been a part of the school for 7 years and have a deep passion for sports and their value for our students. During my time at Buchanan High School, I played volleyball, soccer, and did swimming, which gave me a sense of purpose and I believe every student should have the opportunity to experience the same. As the Athletic Director, my goal is to provide a positive experience for our athletes and give them the best chance at succeeding beyond elementary school. To achieve this, I aim to establish multiple coaches in each sport so that we can get more athletes involved and unlock their potential. I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for our athletes to grow, learn, and have fun. I look forward to working with you and your children to achieve our goals together.
