Athletic Scholarships
Listed below are several local, county and state scholar athlete awards. All Scholarship Applications can be picked up in the guidance office.

Jill Applegate Memorial Scholar/Athlete Scholarship Due Date First week of April of current school year
Scholarship Sponsored by C.R.E.A Philanthropic Fund Scholarship
This scholarship is open to all Central Regional School District graduating seniors. All applicants must plan on attending a four year college or university.
Leonard M. DePiano Memorial Scholarship- Due Date First week of April of current school year
Scholarship sponsored by the Berkeley Eagles Youth Football Scholarship
This scholarship is open to graduating seniors who have participated for at least 2 years in the Berkeley Eagles Youth Football and Cheer, as either football player, cheerleaders or high school demonstrators. Students must plan to attend a college or a technical/trade school to be eligible.
Berkeley Soccer Association Scholarship Due Date First week of April of current school year
Scholarship is sponsored by the Berkeley Soccer Association
This scholarship is open to students who have been registered as a player within the Berkeley Soccer Association for a minimum of three seasons regardless of age. All applicants must be in their senior year, have maintained a “B” or better grade point average through the second marking period of their senior year, and be accepted into college in the following fall semester. All applicants will be reviewed by the Berkeley Soccer Association Executive Board.
Donald Tomaio Jr. Memorial Scholarship Due Date Second week of March of current school year
Scholarship is sponsored by Berkeley Girls Softball
Applicants must be a college bound senior and should be an honor student. He/or She is a senior member of the Central Regional School District Softball or Baseball Team. Students must plan to attend a college or a technical/trade school to be eligible.
Joe Fioretti Memorial Athletic Scholarship Due Date Second week of March of current school year
Scholarship is sponsored by Family of Joe Fioretti
Candidates for this scholarship must have wrestled or played a least one sport during their high school career. Applicants must be in their senior year of high school and plan to continue their education in college or any other educational institution.
Donald Tomaio Jr. Memorial Scholarship Due Date Second week of March of current school year
Scholarship sponsored by Central Regional Wrestling
Candidates must be a senior member of the Central Regional School District Wrestling Program. Applicants must plan on attending a college or university in the upcoming fall semester.
Al Kunzman Memorial Baseball Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Central Regional Baseball
Candidates must be a 4 year member of the Central Regional Baseball Program and plan on attending a 4 year college or university in the preceding fall semester.
Mary Pecora Memorial Ocean County Due Date First week of March of current school year
USBC Women’s Bowling Association
Scholarship sponsored by the Family of Mary Pecora
Any senior female sanctioned bowler who is planning to attend a college or university.
John M. Hoffman Foundation Due Date Third week of March of current school year
Scholarship sponsored by the John M. Hoffman foundation
Student must be a member of the high school swim team, graduating senior, resident of Ocean County
