It is incredibly important when working on your shot that you take it slow and start in close to develop proper form. As you become confident and consistent with your form you can work your way back. It is important your form develops muscle memory. When you start shooting from further out and going faster you want to make sure you maintain the form that you have been working on and not going back to bad habits. Working to establish solid and consistent shooting form is A LOT of HARD work. It takes A LOT of time and repetition to get it down. It will start off rough, so make sure you don't get discouraged. Everything comes together with practice, patience, and continuous work. You should not be shooting 3 until you have perfected your form. Stay close, within 15 feet and work on short range, mid range, and free throws to develop your consistent form before moving to 3pt range.
Before moving on to the shooting routines below make sure you have established consistent and proper form.
