I was born and raised in the state of Colorado. I grew up on a farm outside the small town of Holyoke, out in the Eastern Plains. Growing up in the small farming community taught me a lot about hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. I had the privilege of playing for one of the best coaches in the state, Coach John Baumgartner. Under his coaching, our team made the state tournament 3 times, reaching the state championship twice, and winning it my senior year. Our team set many state defensive records over the years. I had the opportunity to play college basketball at Doane College, but after a year I choose to focus on academics. After graduation I moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming where I taught for three years and was the assistant head basketball coach for two season under head coach and great friend, Robert Harmon. During my two season with the program we attended the state tournament twice, making it to the championship my final year there. I also spent a summer coaching AAU basketball in Vegas, Anaheim, and Boise. I have spent the past three seasons teaching and coaching at Central Lee.
Goal - Build a successful program based on hard work, dedication, sacrifice, selflessness, and love of the game. I believe that doing the little things, make a big difference. Nothing changes, if nothing changes. #Proud2bCL
