At CCSS, our Talented Performing Arts program is dedicated to educating students in theatre and music with a focus on creativity, collaboration, and mastery of the performing arts. From their earliest experiences on stage to advanced training in high school, students are guided to grow as confident performers, thoughtful collaborators, and expressive artists. Our goal is to nurture both skill and passion, preparing students to shine not only in the arts but in every aspect of their lives.
Our Talented Music and Talented Theatre program
falls under the umbrella of what we call
the Talented Performing Arts Department.
Join us for a family-friendly night of laughter, music, and student talent—tickets are available now!
Our CHS Talented Musical Theatre students are excited to invite you to see Something Rotten Jr., a fun, fast-paced musical comedy full of laughs, music, and playful Shakespeare-inspired humor. Set in the Renaissance, Something Rotten Jr. is a joyful, laugh-out-loud roast of musical theatre. When an overlooked playwright tries to outshine the era’s biggest celebrity — William Shakespeare —things take a wildly unexpected turn, leading to the accidental creation of the world’s very first musical. Packed with big ensemble numbers, clever theatre references, and nonstop humor, this show is a love letter to everything audiences love about musical theatre.
It’s a great night out for all ages and a wonderful way to support our students as they share their hard work and creativity on stage. Grab your tickets, bring the whole family, and welcome to the Renaissance!
