Each K-12 student in District 301 is issued a Chromebook as part of the 1:1 program. Use of the Chromebook is subject to the Chromebook Handbook. For the fall of 2020, students entering Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 6th grade, 9th grade and 11th grade will receive new devices. Early Childhood students will receive a Chrome tablet to use during remote learning.

Gmail is our email system. Teacher email addresses are first.last@central301.net. Student emails are their student ID number@central301.net. Students in grades K-7 can only send or receive emails from others with central301.net addresses.
Google Meet is a video call platform. Students can only join Meet calls after the call is started by a teacher/staff member.
Google Drive is a digital "backpack" that stores all files (documents, presentations, spreadsheets and more). Students can create their own files, collaborate in real time with others on a file, or have files shared with them. More information about the different file types/Google tools are below.
