This summer has gone by so quickly! It seems like just yesterday we were all meeting and greeting for the first time! To wrap up our program, we wanted to have as much fun as possible, SO WE”RE GOING ON A FIELD TRIP to start off our last week! Tune in at 9:30 am to visit the Smithsonian Museum in New York City!

Now, we get to flash towards the future and look at some of the cool things us humans have used to change the world! And what’s cooler than windmills and helicopters!?!? Join us to make your very own windmill and helicopter

Procedure
- Students will fold and then cut paper into thirds.
- Next, students will fold each of these into thirds and fold these pieces in half (Mr. Kyle will demonstrate so don't worry if this sounds confusing!)
- Then, you will slide the pieces together and tighten them! (Mr. Kyle will demonstrate again don’t worry!)
- Now you get to paint your flier to look like a pterodactyl or any other dinosaur you want!

STEP1: First, you will want to whip up a batch of our salt dough.

STEP2: You want to form the salt dough around a small empty water bottle.
Depending on the shape you want, the time to let it dry, and the bottle you have.

STEP3: Once your volcano is dry, it’s time to paint it and add your creative touches to resemble the actual land form.

STEP4: Once your volcano is ready to erupt, you need to prepare the eruption. To the opening, add a tablespoon or two of baking soda, food coloring, and a squirt of dish soap.

- Mix up some oobleck by combining cornstarch and water. You will want to use approximately twice as much cornstarch as water.
