Students and their parents/guardians are invited to come to the school for registration. We will be registering by grade level. Families with multiple Central students may register all of their CHS students during one of their scheduled times. School Pictures will be taken during registration.

• Seniors: Tuesday, August 16 8:00-11:00 am

• Juniors: Tuesday, August 16 12:00-3:00 pm

• Sophomores: Wednesday, August 17 8:00-11:00 am

• Freshmen: Wednesday, August 17 12:00-3:00 pm

If you are unable to attend your scheduled time, you can attend a makeup time on Tuesday, August 23 from 5:00-7:30 pm. This session is open to all grade levels.

What happens at registration?

Students and their parents (if able to attend) will rotate through stations around the school to:

• Update your important information in our system

• Get your photo taken for your yearbook/school ID

• Register for transportation (in Library at Kiosk)

• Drop off medications/permission to self carry forms

• Get your locker assignments

• Take care of school fees

• Gather information at our resource booths about registration for athletics, food service programs, signing up for access to the PowerSchool Portal, clubs, activities, arts, our health and wellness center, and more.

• Sign up for free & reduced lunch benefits (breakfast & lunch will be free for all students for the 2022/2023 school year). Signing up for this will allow those eligible for additional benefit, including AP Test Fee waivers.

School Supplies

We do not provide a general supply list for high school students because the needed supplies for every class are unique and will vary from teacher to teacher. Teachers will provide a list of supplies on the first day of school. In general, please be prepared with a backpack, some paper, and a writing utensil.
