Lauryn Ginter “Miseducation”

I chose this painting because my mom really likes Lauryn Hill and so do I. I like Lauryn Hill because of her style and vibe, she’s just great. The one thing I really like about this is the hair, the hair took lots of time and i just like all the colors that are in it along with the flow of it. One thing I would change would be maybe the neck or the nose. Other than that I really like how this project turned out. This project was something new and it pushed me to go out of my comfort zone, so now I feel more confident when I am trying something new. I chose the name “Miseducation” for my painting because Lauryn Hill has an album called the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and I think it just fits really well because I changed her hair to a whole bunch of different colors so idk It’s kind of hard to explain. But I like it.
