Lauryn Ginter "The Spot"

This is definitely one of my favorites, I really love how it came out. this is a painting of my parents at Canters Deli, its place in LA where the band Guns & Roses met. Which is also my parents favorite band, so I thought it would be cool to paint that picture, because there is also a picture of Gun & Roses sitting in the same booth. From the beginning I was nervous about the people aspect of the painting, in my last painting (above) I used these abstract type figures and i really liked how they looked so I just put that over what I had already done. I really like how it turned out and even more now that I added that abstract part to the people.
