Our project was to make the commencement program for the 2018 class. While brainstorming I thought of the sunflower which is the class flower. So, when researching I tried to find a brush that was a light opacity flower. I also looked for a brush that had some texture to make a band across the top and bottom of my program. Again, I really tried to tie in the class flower to show everyone that is what it is. When I found the band, I knew that the flowers had to be lighter on top to make it pop. I also added a flower to the bottom and tried to make it overlap so it looks like it is coming up from the bottom. I am most pleased about the textures and brushes, I feel like they really blend. If I could change anything, I would make it in color because I think it would look cleaner and bright like summer. It would also then work with the flower and class color which is yellow. I would also try to find a way to add the motto.
