For this project we didn't have a problem that we needed to solve, but it was to create a personal logo and put it on objects. My thought process through this was that, I love golf and it has been my life for a very long time and I wanted to incorporate that into my logo. I also added my Initials in the middle and created a border with some golf clubs. Everything used was selected because we had to create a personal logo and golf best represents me and the design was easy and simple because it needed to be simple and memorable. I feel most pleased about this design because it represents me the greatest. The one thing that I would change is maybe make a golf bag and put my initials in there instead of a "box" of golf clubs.
For this project we had to design a cove for our school "Star Performers" show. For my planning I knew I wanted to use stars, but I just didn't know how to incorporate it in. I had 3 designs that I thought were well designed, but I ended up going to what I felt was my best. I feel that the design and typography goes with the message that these are our best Fine Arts students and their creativity is nice. I feel really good about my organization and the flow of my design. Nothing is out of the ordinary in it and it just flows really nice. I might change my alignment of the words and make it left alignment instead if center alignment and then have something else to go into the blank space on the right.
Our project was to design a commencement cover for our Seniors this year. I knew after learning the class information of class moto, class color, and class quote, I was going to interpret it into my design. I also knew that I wanted to have a a diploma on it as well. My typography and my design feel connected because they work well together and they are similar styles. I am most pleased with the organization and the way I interpreted the roses. If I had to change something I would change the diploma to a more realistic diploma.
For this project we had to design a business that we got from drawing out of a hat. i got the words Eskimo and flight, so I chose to have the business, Eskimo Airlines. My thought process was pretty basic I knew that I wanted a eskimo looking face for my main focus and then have the name of the airlines around it. The typography that i chose really made the designs cohesive and better. I am most pleased with my companion card because it was the most detail on it and the information that I wanted to pop out does. I probably would redraw because i really don't like the business/words that I got, so if I had to change anything I would change the business itself.
