''Spirit"

The idea I had with this project is to make the rose symbolic to the quote. The rose represents success among the ashes of failure in the background.

My original idea was to have a monkey in a car driving around a race track but I feel that wouldn't be a great quote to go with it.

I have two words popping out on the bottom just to give them more meaning because they are the 'main' words of the quote.

I especially like the contrast of the rose to the dark ash background and how well the edges blend and darken with the background.

"Glitch"

The point of this project wasn't to make something, it was to learn how to take certain colors to move them independently, and to apply an effects that makes it appear as a 'glitch'.

I had no Ideas of what to make of this project so I decided to learn a new skill. I started with taking the red part of the images and moving it to the left, then I took the blue and moves it to the right. This created a cool effect when both were applied at the same time.

If I were to do this again, I would have the color in the background a different color because the effect is weak around that area. Also, I would make the distortion lines smaller and blurrier.
