The objective of my Poster was to represent what pattern is, what it looks like, and the types of pattern. When thinking up the design of my project, I knew that I wanted more irregular patterns than regular because I feel like irregular patterns aren’t always as recognizable as regular. In my poster, I have two types of typography. The word “Pattern” is a literal pattern to first off, add more pattern, and second off to add more fun and creativity. The explanations of the pattern were in a basic font to not distract from what’s already going on in the poster, but in a bright color to make it more prominent. I’m really pleased without the triangle pattern came out. I wanted it to look sort of crystal-like, and it came out exactly like that. If I could change anything it would be the floral design. I would like it to have more detail and to be a little more realistic but I knew if I did that then I wouldn’t have any time to do anything else so I had to cut it short for time reasons.

My design objective was to make people think about how they are unique, how they are responsible for themselves, and how they matter in the world. They are inevitable. While thinking of a project design, it was really hard at first because I couldn’t think of a quote. Because of this, I looked up quotes that are in the Hamilton musical knowing that I would get a good selection. That’s how I came up with my quote up above. I thought of how powerful the quote was, so I figured that I needed a powerful image to come up with that. That’s how I came up with the lighted match. In the beginning, I knew that the typography would be in a cursive. When you read in cursive, you kind of read it in this fancy, kind of elegant and calm voice, and that was the kind of tone that I needed for my project to create a deeper meaning then it already was. I am most pleased with how the “I am an original” came out in gold. I feel like it just really put it all together. If I had to change anything about my project I probably would have redone the fire. I just don’t think it looks as realistic as I wanted it to be.

The objective of this project was to create a self portrait. At first, I had a really hard time coming up with an idea. Throughout the making of this project, I completely scrapped the first 3 designs I came with. It wasn't until I started making the project that I came up with the final outcome. I made the background pictures in black and white, then blurred them, as to not distract to what's in front of it. I chose the cursive font for the quote to help with the elegant vibe the portrait picture gives off. I feel most pleased with how the crown came out, mostly because it helps tie everything together. If I were to change anything about my project it would be the picture. I would've included my shoulders because it looks a little weird without them.

The objective of the project is to create a poster that would be used to inform people about the film festival that will take place in May. When brainstorming, I already kind of knew what almost everyone was going to create. Although what those people were making wasn’t bad, I still made a sort of “goal,” to go outside of what they were creating. But with that, I had a ton of trouble coming up with a design I liked, and it took me a while to come up with something that I was happy with. Every object in the poster is relating to things that are film, and are used to show that it is a film festival. I used a fancy/sophisticated-like font for the title to compliment the red gradient in the background and I used a more modern font for the information to not distract and to put everything together. I am most pleased with the clapper board because it’s different. If I were to change anything, I’d probably change the film tape that’s above the title because I didn’t like how the tape that extended out of it looks.
