Meet the Robot

Using our intake powered by 2 NEO 550 motors, Orca can take in and shoot out coral by using compliant wheels. Attached to an arm that moves up and down, our robot can reach coral, no matter how low or high.

Orca has an elevator, starting at 33 inches, but reaching over 72 inches. With 3 extendable levels, the smallest of which the coral grabber is attached to, the elevator allows the robot to take coral from high places.

Equipped with 4 swerve modules, Orca is able to move in every direction. For example, it can move sideways when facing forward. This allows for more precise movement than other types of wheels
