Honor Roll, Academic Distinction and Class Rank
HONOR ROLL
To achieve Honor Roll, a student must be enrolled in 8 credits and meet the following criteria:
Distinguished Honor Roll - A numerical average of at least 95% with no more than one numerical grade of less than 90%.
First Honor Roll - A numerical average of at least 90% with no numerical grade of less than 80%.
Second Honor Roll - A numerical average of at least 85% with no grade of less than 75%.
ACADEMIC DISTINCTION AND CLASS RANK
To acknowledge the students’ academic achievement, academic distinction is awarded on a yearly basis. The levels of academic distinction reflect the student’s cumulative grade point averages for all subjects. Advanced Placement, Dual Enrollment and Honors courses carry a weighted factor, as shown on the previous page, in the Grade Weight Factors Chart.
