Important: If you have Stratasys F170, you can download the F170 Print Files to print all parts at once. If you have another type of a 3D printer, you will have to print the parts individually using the Individual Print Files. Refer to the section below to download these files.
F170 Print Files
If you have a Stratasys F170, the following files can be used to produce the Insect-o-Bot. If you download each file, go to GrabCAD and select Open Project, choose the file and open. Once the file is open, verify the setting is in mm and begin the print. If you are producing a class set of 10, the Insect-o-Bot Print Schedule file will provide details of the timing to complete the entire print. This build will take two entire spools of model and support material. It is timed based on new spools being installed prior to the start of the printing.
Individual Print Files
The following list of files are the .stl files for each part of the Insect-o-Bot. If you download each part, you will need to follow the quantities listed in the Inventory sheet to produce all parts needed to assemble one bot body. The inventory sheet can be downloaded here: Insect-o-Bot 3D file inventory
Important: If you decide to use either MINDSTORM NXT or MINDSTORM EV3, then refer to Robot Rescue Robots below.
