Meet the Featured Speakers

John Schumacher is a blogger, part-time lecturer at Rutgers University, and the Ambassador of School Libraries for Scholastic Book Fairs.

"As a teacher-librarian, I try to turn every day into a giant book party!"

Richard’s work is focused on sharing free resources that educators can use to enhance their students’ learning experiences. He is best known for developing the award-winning blog Free Technology for Teachers.

Steven W. Anderson is a Dad, Learning Evangelist, Speaker and Author. After a successful career in public education as a Teacher, Instructional Technologist, and Director of Instructional Technology, Steven works with educators across the globe as a consultant.

Kathy Schrock has been a school district Director of Technology, an instructional technology specialist, and a middle school, academic, museum, and public library librarian. She is currently an online adjunct graduate-level professor for Wilkes University (PA) and an independent educational technologist.

Shaelynn Farnsworth is a leader in the convergence between literacy and technology. As a high school teacher, she redefined her classroom using contemporary modes to amplify student voice and connect them with a global audience. She continues this work as an Education Services Consultant in Iowa and consults with districts around the country through Web20Classroom.
