The Ghettos During the Holocaust

During the Holocaust, the Nazis believed that the Jews were an inferior race and wanted to ruin the German culture. There were many other reason that the Nazis didn't like the Jews but that list could go on and on. Because of their hatred for the Jews, the Nazis built small "towns" in order to separate the Jewish people from Germans. These Ghettos were built in already rundown and abandoned towns, so you can guess that they weren't in very good shape. This website will explain how the ghettos originated, the living conditions for the people in the ghettos, and the liquidation of the ghettos.
