We are a Global Goals Club based in Hong Kong at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong. Since 2013, we have partaken in school travels to Bagan, Myanmar to visit and teach at the Basis Education Primary School. Locally, we host weekly reading programs targeting students in Hong Kong!
The Reading Tree is dedicated to empowering individuals through English reading education, creating accessible learning environments that promote positive social change. By developing a transferable English curriculum, we support individuals of all backgrounds, enabling them to thrive and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
Our vision is to be a catalyst for empowerment and social change through the promotion of literacy. We aim to establish The Reading Tree as a cornerstone of accessible education, fostering a love for reading and unlocking the full potential of individuals within local communities and beyond. Through our initiatives, we strive to inspire action, encourage collaboration, and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
