The goal of the portfolio is to give students an opportunity to display their professional experiences and to demonstrate a knowledge of job search skills.
In the portfolio task you will create a website to display the following:
*Resume (updated following teacher feedback)
*Cover letter
*Explanation of how you meet 3 IB learner Profile Traits
Suggested Platforms Include
Google Sites, Wix, Weebly, Wordpress, Portfoliobox
Your resume focuses on what you've done in the past, the cover letter talks about the future - how you will apply your past experiences (the resume) to the future (your dream school/program, job, internship etc.) You want to convey a knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, the position.
Overview: Interview
*Students MUST wear non-uniform, appropriate interview clothing for their interview!
*Formal Interview
* 10-15 minutes in duration
*You MUST bring a copy of your resume with you to your interview

EACH STUDENT is responsible for ensuring that they are on time for their interview - your teacher WILL NOT remind you and an unapproved 'no show' or late arrival will affect your mark on the interview!!
