Meet the Teacher

My name is Ashley Capobianco. This is my 9th year teaching, and I am thrilled to be a part of the 4th grade team at Atlas Elementary.

I grew up in a military family and have lived in New York, Nebraska, Virginia, Korea, Germany, Colorado, Arkansas, Ohio, Montana, Whales, and Oregon. After many moves, I am putting some roots down in Idaho and am happy to call Idaho my home.

I am the second oldest of five siblings. My husband works for Idaho Department of Lands and helps out with his family's sugaring operation in Vermont. I have a 2 year old daughter and a 2 month old son who keep me busy on the weekends.

Hobbies/Interests

While I’m not teaching, I spend most of my time outside. I enjoy backpacking into mountain lakes, hiking over breathtaking mountain passes, mountain biking, triathlons, yoga, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, hunting, gardening, and boating on the lake. I also enjoy traveling to new places! Last year, I got to visit Beijing, China and Phuket, Thailand. I love learning about other cultures, having new experiences, and living life with a sense of adventure.
