1 Minimal understanding or effort was shown. The student has not mastered a skill or standard, yet.
2 The student is making progress toward a skill or standard and shows some understanding, but has not mastered it, yet.
3 The student has mastered a skill or standard at a 4th grade level. The student shows adequate understanding.
4 The student shows a deep level of understanding at or above the 4th grade expectation.
