The Sunset 

Mountian Sunset

 I got the idea to paint a sunset over mountains because I love being outside and I love sunsets.  I also have never seen a mountain in person before and I have always wanted to so this is kind of how I imagined the sunset to look. But I add different colors because I love colors.   I started by painting the background and then I traced the mountains then I painted them. Then I added detail. This painting is a symbol of where I want to go someday. My grandma loves sunsets too so they reminded me of her.  I want the audience to think about how beautiful the sky can be.  The background was probably the hardest part. I just kept working on it and it eventually came out how I wanted. If I could go back I would add more shadowing. I think mine is realistic I love that it reminds me of things and  I love the colors. It is unique because there are not the normal colors you find in a sunset.
