My idea was to paint a very colorful background. then I wanted to paint a flower right in the middle but just one flower. I got the idea because spring is on the way and I love flowers and I think it turned out exactly how I wanted it. Also when I was little I always used to pick flowers for my mom and my grandma. I first started by painting the very colorful background. I made the background kind of fade to a lighter color. I took the paintbrush and moved it in a circular motion to get the background.  The artwork is special because it reminds me of my childhood and of spring and summer which are my favorite seasons. I want my audience to think about fun colorful things and be happy. The hardest part was trying to make the background as bright as I wanted it. I overcame it by just keep working on it and it out looking very good. I would change the flower a little bit to make it a little more bright. It makes it unique because it reminds me of things from my past. I love it because it makes me happy. I think it would be abstract.
