The idea I had for this sketch was actually the Hellcat redeye. When I think about stuff to sketch I always like to sketch cars that im interested in. This car specifically I really love the car itself has a supercharged 6.2L v8 and is incredibly loud and fast. I plan on owning one of these cars everntually or even just taking the motor out and swapping it into a crhysler 300. But ya that was my idea for the painting ill probobly end up sketching the jailbroke chrysler 300 next. The process of sketching it was look at were the lines should lay downa and sketching a rough draft. Then I would sketch down the lines and thicken them down so they look more crisp and straight. But that was pretty much the whole process of working on it. The most difficult part is starting a sketch I always kinda take awhile and try to figure out what to draw on first and then work from there. Another rough part is getting straight lines. to fix this I sketch the lines out and then go over them again. If i could change somthing I would work again on the grill and make it straighter. I feel like this is sureal art because it's somthing real but ive personally only seen this car once. .

My idea for this small painting was actually the energy drink I got that morning. It's kinda funny because I don't usually get energy drinks at all before school. So it's kinda a interesting thing that I got the drink came into class and needed somthing to paint and that's the first thing that caught my eye. Also Ghost energy drinks are my fav the citrus one I painted reminds me of a mtn dew. Basically When I think of ghost energy I think of fun times lifting with friends. The process of painting this was more of a sketch the outline of the can and the words then layer on the paint. It wasnt too hard to sketch but painting the colors in was kinda interesting considering I havent painted in a really long time. The most difficult part of the painting was probobly the lettering and gettinng it to blend in with the yellow. I also just struggled in general to sketch the can and paint it in. I overcame these struggles by just pushing through and not thinking to much about them. Eventually youll get a finished product doesnt always have to be perfect maybe the little details make it that much more special. If i started over I would definitly try my best to make the lines a little more straight and maybe even stencil in the letters. It could definitly look a little more neat but I don't really even mind it. I would say this type of painting is realistic because it's something that I have right infront of me that im proud to have. I think the can has the same shape and by a glance at the painting. people will be able to tell what exactly it is. I love how the painting came together for my first painting and how the painting came about makes me laugh.
Tristen Henningsen " Signs"
I didn't rreally have an idea for this painting I was going through my camera roll and rememberd this picture I took a couple weeks before. When I seen it I knew it was perfect for painting so I guess you can kinda say my idea came straight from my camera roll. I just liked the way the orange faded into the picture and the dakrness of the picture itself. So I started by painting in the sign then I kinda faded in the orange around it. After that I touched up everything and made it look good. This painting means alot to me I spent alot of time riding under this bridge and messing around under this birdge with friends. But to a diffrent audience maybe the meaning can be seen as a dark bridge with a faint orange light and a big sign. I think the most difficult part for me was fading in the orange and making it look good. If I started over I wouldve definitely painted the sign in last and then faded everything before. I would say this is a realistic painting because it's a picture that I actually took. I feel like the fading orange makes this painting very uniqe because it's not often you see somthing like this.
