Fire 

this is a painting of a fire fighter. I know a few firefighters and this is an original photo of ryan. i did a lot of layering to make the fire. he always tells me storys about the fires he has seen and calls he has been on. i know it means a lot to him to go on calls and he loves to help. i decided to paint this picture of him on one of his calls. one thing about fires is they are unpredictable and dont look the same as another. which is why i wanted this fire to look crazy and unpredicatable by highlighting many different colors and elements youd see in a real fire.
