My idea was to create Jack Skellington, Sally, and Jacks dog zero from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas. This is a Christmas movie where it shows Jack going through different hollidays and Sally liking him.I had to mix different colors to get the perfect one for sallys skintone and hair color. And then I had to use a thin brush to create the yes and stitches on their mouths. I want my audience to clearly see who these characters are and understand where I was going for.The most difficult thing was trying to find a thin enough brush so that the detailes on their face didn't look to thick, but they still did. This artwork is supposed to be realistic.
The idea was to paint a portrait of me and my younger brother from when we were little. This was on the fourth of july in our backyard by the sunset.I first had to sketch other the image and then I painted it all a light yellow, then I started mixing colors for the clouds and the trees. The I painted the grass and let it try then used darker and lighter colors to add more shading and detail so it looked more realistic. This artwork shows the love that I have for my brother. The most difficult thing was the shading on our faces, they don't look right and I had to redo it many times. This artwork is realistic and its unique because it's me and my brother.
"The sky"
This was a landscape picture of a sunset on a late night. This was taking about 2 years ago in my backyard. First i had to sketch out the trees and then the yellow blanket that i was sitting on. I painted the whole canvas a yellow color to match the sun. then i mixed up colors to make a purple and coral shade for the sun, and then different shades of green for the grass. This artwork shows the love I have for the beautiful sky. The most difficult thing was layering the paint, becasue for the darker green it was very thick and i had a hard time blending it in. This artwork is realistic because it shows the sky.Â
