The idea was to make a bouquete of flowers, with many different types of flowers. I got this idea from the flowers hanging up in my room, and just sthe fact that I like flowers. In the process of making this, i first started by rolling little stems, and then i took little peices of clay to make each one of the flowers. When i was done with the flowers I made the wrapping around the flowers by rolling a very thin peice of clay and wrapping it around the stems. Then i braided some clay to add decor to the wrap. This bouquet represents care, appreciation, and love, especially because bouquets are commonly given as gifts. The different colors symbolize a mix of feelings like happiness, warmth, and positivity, while the woven wrapping represents connection or unity holding everything together. One of the most difficult parts was shaping small details, like the individual petals and the braided wrap. If i started over, I might change things like making the shapes more defined, adding more detail, or adjusting the proportions so the bouquet looks even more balanced. Maybe blending colors more smoothly or making the wrapping more defined. This piece fits best as abstract with some realism. The flowers are recognizable, but they’re simplified and stylized rather than perfectly lifelike .

The idea was to create a portrait of a pond, with a frog and leaves, and flowers. This is originated from the pond that I have at my house, and there is always this big frog in it. In this process i first made a thick slab to have as a base for all the things I was going to put on it. First i made all of the 3D flowers and then i carved in some flowers to add more texture, then I made the frog. When i was finished I added two holes to the top so it is able to hangup on the wall at some point. This artwork shows a nature scene with plants, berries, and a frog. It represents growth, life, and the natural world. The frog is often a symbol of change or transformation because frogs go through different life stages. The leaves and flowers suggest growth and new beginnings, while the small berries and details add to the idea of a living, connected ecosystem. The most difficult part was probably shaping and carving the small details, like the leaves, textures, and the frog’s features. If I started over, I might make the edges cleaner, add more depth to the carving, or refine the shapes so they look more even and detailed. I might also plan the layout more before starting so everything feels balanced. This piece is mostly realistic. The objects are recognizable, but they are simplified and slightly exaggerated rather than perfectly lifelike. What I love most about it is the peaceful, nature inspired feeling and the amount of detail in the design. It feels creative, expressive, and shows effort in both shaping and carving.
