10" x 8", Acrylic on Canvas, 2025
My idea for this painting was to follow the social issue painting. I got the idea from thinking about social problems that are in this world, my main idea was limited water supply, and or dirty water in other countries. I used ideas from the internet for this painting, but I also added my own touches to it using Canva. I got the arms idea from online and then added the faucet on Canva and the dripping water. My process started off with painting my canvas with solid gray for my background, and then transferring my printed picture onto my canvas. I used acrylic paint and brushes. something I did new was mixing paint with more than two colors, which is something I haven't done before. My artwork means something to me. It shows that we need to try and do something about the worldwide issue of dirty water and water scarcity. The most difficult part for me was trying to keep the shape of the fingers while filling the arms with paint. If I started over, I would change my approach to it. I would figure out another way to make the arms more detailed. This style of art is abstract.

My idea for this painting was to follow the identity painting. I did a golf ball on a tee because I have golfed all 4 years of high school, and it's something I really enjoyed. I got this from the internet and changed up the grass a little bit to try and make it more realistic. My process started by mixing paint for the background. I added white to the blue to lighten it a little bit, so it was closer to a sky color. I then needed to transfer my idea to my canvas with a pencil to get the outline of what I needed to paint. I didn't do anything new with this painting. I used techniques I have used before. My artwork doesn't mean a ton to me it just shows that I enjoyed golfing and shows part of who I am. The difficult part for me was the grass around the tee and trying to make it detailed. The style of art for this is Abstract, it's not anything new this is the style of art I usually paint.

My idea for this painting was to follow the narrative painting. I did my heifer from the 2024 fair. I did this because it tells a story about my life. This heifer was a decent heifer at home and behaved until she got to the fair, and she went psycho. My process for this painting started by getting a background color to cover up the old painting that what on this canvas. I then transferred the outline onto canvas and started to fill in the face to get the face shape. I then painted in the ears and face, followed by painting the halter. My intention was to show my heifer in the chute at the fair. This picture was from show day, so I was getting ready to show her. I want my audience to think about it as a cow in a chute, ready for the fair. She seems friendly in the picture, and I hope that it shows. The most difficult part of this painting was trying to get detail in the face and the nose. I overcame the struggles by having to go through a few coats and trying new things with it. I would change the process if I started over; I would save the face for last. This style of art is realism its not super unique to my style as I like to make paitnings like this. I love how you can tell what it is even tho the legs blend into the chute.
