My idea was to make a landscape drawing mainly showing the one singular tree on the hill. I got the idea from it being so nice out. I have done landscape drawings in the past and I liked doing them. First I sketched out the hill, tree, and sun. Then I colored in the green parts, then the brown part of the tree, then the sun. I used pencil and then and then colored pencils. It shows just a relaxed place where you would want to take a nap. I want them to think that they would want to go to this place. The tree was most difficult because of the wood. I tried a couple times and got it how I wanted. I would change coloring in the green parts to make it more colored in. What style of art is this? (Realistic, Abstract, Surreal, Non-Objective?). What makes it unique to your own personal style? What do you love about it?

My idea was to draw the picture as realistic as I could. It evolved by me not really wanting to do the background. I got inspired by just looking through old photos. I started with making my grid. Then I went and did the outline and then colored in the background. Then did my bat arms and clothes. Then I did the face. I just used colored pencils and just colored. This artwork shows how much I have grown since then and how I still love baseball. I want them to think about how much I've grown since then. The face was very difficult trying to get the different shades was hard. I asked for help and learned how to do it. If I did it again I would put more effort into the background. This is a realistic style. The thing that is unique is the bat. I love the fact that the face looks like me.

9x11, Scratch Art, 2025
I want made this realistic but black and white, but it worked out because my dog is black and white. This is my dog and I wanted to draw him. I already did this picture in painting and I wanted to make it better. First I trace and color in all the white parts. Then I scratch off the black on the white parts. I use an engraving tool. This artwork is of my dog and I love him so I wanted to draw him. I want my audience to think about how the white just pops out on the black paper. The hardest part was that when you are scratching it accidentally goes on a different part that it is not supposed to. I overcame this by using a black pen to black it out. I would not change anything I thin k it looks good. This is realistic artwork. It is unique because the white just pops out at you. I love the his face and how he is making eye contact with you.
