I'm going to use this pitcher for flowers maybe because it has a cute flower design on it. I used two glazes on this pitcher and it turned out differently than I thought but it looks cool. I think I did well on smoothing all the edges and cracks. I need to remember to sand the bottom down though. But overall, this pitcher is one of my best.

For my first time ever making something with clay the egg isn't bad. The painting is a little crazy and I should have just used a sharpie for the smily face. I wanted to make something food related because I'm going to put this magnet on my fridge so I did a little happy egg.

This was one of my first simple bowls and it went well. One thing I need to work on is making sure all the edges are the same shape and size. The design turned out good and I like the color. I wanted to make a bowl so I could get the hang of it and I'm going to use this bowl for my mac and cheese.

This chip and dip bowl was challenging. I wanted them connected so I put the smaller bowl on top of the bigger one. I connected them with a slab of clay and made sure to leave an air pocket so nothing exploded in the kiln. I like this dark green color and the design.

I did an Utilitarian project. It's a butter dish and is supposed to be the sky and the earth and a cardinal. It turned out streakier than I thought it'd turn out but I still like it. One thing I could improve on is getting actual measurements of the size of a stick of butter. I kind of guesstimated.

These were the first projects I made on both the electric and manual wheel. The far left one is the best shape so I think thats my best one. I used alphabet macaroni to put words on each of the bowls. I put my initials KJ on the first. The middle bowl I put the word Hello on the rim. There is a hole in the third and I didn't mean to do that but I plan to make a plate for the bowl to have a small plant holder. Thinking of this I put the word life on the third bowl. I thought the color was supposed to be green but it turned out a brown color.

These projects were fun to do. It took a lot of time to make sure there was no chunks of clay in the slip but it was worth it. I wanted to use both of these molds for christmas gifts. The tree stump was for my dad because he likes plants so I thought this was a good gift for him. I made the ornaments for my mom because she loves christmas decorations. The only thing I wish I did with these was plan more time for them because I felt rushed. I didn't do enough coats of glaze on the trunk and it looks different than usual.
