flower garden
The main idea of this painting was to create a space that felt like a garden with lots of beautiful l things in it. I need a mixed media painting with cut-outs of a magazine so that I could incorporate it into the paintings. first, I started by painting the background and then I cut out and glued on the magazine pieces This painting was a representation of how I view nature. how I see the outside world. the most difficult thing that I had to do was find out all the pieces that I could use to take out of the magazines. cutting out all of the little pieces where hard to do. My favorite part is the butterflies and flowers.

Forest ray
My main idea was to create a cozy welcoming forest. We had a make a project with a background and I did mine on something that reminds me of when me and my family go on walks.
First I pained the background a tan color and then I went in and did the tree stems multiple times with different browns then I took a flat brush and different greens to make the leaves.
I wanted this painting to show that I love nature and enjoy being outside. I want the audience to think about how beautiful nature is.
The most difficult thing was doing the background. I just kept repainting it till it became the right color. If I could start over I would redo the background with a different color that fits the green trees better.
It's a realistic drawing. it has a unique color and texture making the trees pop.
Hailey Green "Snake-faced "

My idea for this painting was for it to be a beautiful face with curly hair. I got this idea because it was one of the paintings that we had to do and the more that I did it the more I messed it up so I had to cover the face with the snakes. I really had no inspiration for this project just something I thought I would like painting.
This painting was a very long process. The curls on the hair took forever since I was doing layers and different colors then the dots on the face were placed one by one even though in the end they got covered up.
This artwork didn't really mean anything to me but I would want the audience to see the vision even though the painting didn't present it in the best way.
This whole painting was very difficult for me to paint I learned that I can not paint people at all or do faces. I ended up having to cover the face because it was just so bad and I couldn't spend any more time trying to re due it. If I could start over I would not have chosen that type of hair or the different color skin for the face.
This was supposed to be a Realistic piece of artwork but it turned into kinda abstract art. In all honesty, I really don't like anything about this piece of art. If i could start over I would and I would not choose this type of art to create its just not for me.
Hailey Green "scissors "

The idea for this painting was you pick a card and paint it. This idea was given to veryone by the art teacher. The whole idea was to see how well you can improve by the end of the year.
The process for this painting was picking a card and then trying to paint the exact picture.
I want the people to see how hard it is to do a relsitic painting and that it is alot harder then it looks to make something the exact same way that you see it in real life.
This whole painting was difficult for me because I have a hard time recreating something that is already made. Especially making something seem very realistic.
I love that I got the same pretty good but i wish i could have had more time to really get the details down and make the art more realistic. I also love how I got the color match really close to.
