Devin Kent "Spider Man”
9” X 12” Acrylic and Marker, 2022
I googled a picture of Spider Man. I used original colors and then decided to have a brick wall as the background. I just like Spider Man.
I printed a copy of the picture and then traced it onto my paper. I painted Spider Man and then outlined him with a marker.I used a ruler to have a straight edge while drawing the bricks. I painted the bricks and then outlined them with a marker.
I chose Spider Man because he’s my favorite character because he does cool tricks and he helps people. I want people to see I did a good job and Spider man is strong and helpful.
The most difficult part was outlining because it was hard to stay on the lines and the marker wouldn’t work sometimes. I’m not happy with how the outline looks, I would change that.
It is realistic art. It’s unique because I decided to use a brick wall and that wasn’t part of the background. I like Spider Man because he’s my hero.
Devin Kent "Alligator In The Wild"

I googled a picture of an alligator and then I used the colors that a real alligator would be.
I printed a copy of the picture and then traced it onto my paper. I painted the alligator with water colrs and then the background.
I chose an alligator because I think their neat.my favorite character because he does cool tricks and he helps people. I want people to see how strong alligators are and how they can float in the water.
The most difficult part about my project was using the right colors for the water. I used many different colors to make the water look real. I’m not happy with the scribble lines in the water from the colored pencils.
This art is an animal, it's realistic. It’s unique because it looks like a real alligator looking for food. I like the way it blends into the water.
Devin Kent "The Lego Shoe"
9” X 12” Watercolor and Acrylic 2022
I googled a picture of an Adidas shoe and then I used the colors that were on the shoe and added the lego blocks to the background.
I printed a copy of the picture and then traced it onto my paper. I painted the shoe with acrylic paint and the legos with water colrs.
I chose the shoe because I think there cool and I want a pair.
The most difficult part about my project was drawing the legos and all the circles.
I used many different colors for the background to make it look colorful. I’m not happy with the brown and blue part because it covered the circles.
This art is realistic. It’s unique because the shoe is hard to find and the lego background.
