Dalton Yarolem “Model of Flying Cardboard”
12 inches tall, cardboard and hot glue, 2021
First I work on the body than the tail, main rotor, cabin, gear. After all that I painted it. I learned that I put too much weight on the back of the helicopter. The challenging part was the skies of the aircraft. I solve the problem by adding a piece between the upper part of the gear. If I were to start over I would cut the lines more equal, the helicopter is more rigid then I would want it. The thing I like about the helicopter is that it can stand without falling.

The sculpture is realism It was one of my ideas on the cardboard sculpture. I started with the bottom then work to the top. If I was to start over I would add a paper under the “keyboard” so you can’t see through it. The thing I like about is that it can fold.

The sculpture is surreal. I started with the bottom and made some slabs for the walls. I started adding all three handles. The last part was the lid.If I was to start over I would change the lid because it's flat on one side. the thing I love about it is that the teapot is a face.
the sculpture is surreal. I started with the bottom pushing out the side to make the inside of the boat. I added the next thing was seats and then the paddles. the last thing I add was the rock. the most challenging part was the paddles because they kept on breaking off. the thing I like most about Is how glaze came out
