My inspiration for my work was my shoes. I got a green pair of Dunks for homecoming, and I thought it would be a great idea to draw. I started with the outline of the shoe, and getting the shape was hard. Then I began on the inside of the shoe, getting its design, including the Nike symbol. Next, I started coloring the shoe. I tried to shade it and make it look as realistic as possible. I want people to realize how pretty Nike Dunks can be. The most difficult part for me was the Nike swoosh and the laces. To get the right shape of it, it was tough on me, I did alot of trial and error, and I think it looked pretty good in the end. I think this is a realistic style drawing, the shading helps my claim here. I like how the shading turned out, and I was proud of the project as a whole.
I decided to draw my face because it seemed like it would be easiest for me to draw. I wanted to show my friends the self portrait I made because I thought it would be funny. I started by outlining the face and hair, I then moved onto the sweatshirt. I than went on to make the facial features like the nose eyes mouth and eyebrows. After that I went on to deatil the hair to look like curls. Next, I moved into coloring the project, figuring out the skin tone how to color hair and how to blend. I want people to realize how hard it is to make a self portrait and all the details that go into it. The most difficult thing was making the curls, and also finding the right colors too look realistic.

I decided to draw a woodworking set because my dad has something like it at home. When I got the photo idea, it reminded me of my dad, so I thought it would be a great idea to draw. I started by outlining the shapes, trying to be precise with my grid photo. I used many different types of pencils, and then I started coloring them. Using darker pencils, I shaded the tools, trying to make it look realistic. I want the artist to realize the artistic value that is in tools and woodwork, just like art, while painting, woodworking has many different tools. It was most difficult for me to get the outline of the tools and make it look realistic, also it was hard to get the black and white down while it was a colored photo, the difference scared me. I would say my art is realistic due to the black and white drawing.
