The inspiration for this artwork was that I needed an assignment done.
I gridded it first, then drew the picture. After that was done. I outlined it in a sharpie to erase the grid then colored it in order to get advice from the teacher.
The success in my assignment & the improvement in my work.
This is an assignment that I needed to do with no other ideas in mind. if i could start over I would add better the detail with the sky.

the inspiration was that I needed to have a black and white project and this was a good idea and it was slightly of a complex work so that is why I chose this.
I first use a non grid as a sketch and it turn out alright but then I use a gird for the final and got it pretty accurate but not exact and some things are of by a little.
A success is that the grid isn't showing when the color came on their.
If i could do a redo it would be to make it a combo with a brass background to match the instrument that my brother is playing.
