Before paying your bill, please check your account number. 

Your WATER account number is five digits long. 

(i.e. 12345 or 1-2345)

Your SEWER account number is a letter followed by four digits.

 (i.e. X1234 or X-1234)

We recommend to send a check or use your checking account to save on fees.

Please be aware that Paymentus charges a convenience fee for processing cards or charging checking accounts. 

This fee does NOT go to Cayuga County Water and Sewer Authority. The fees charged by Paymentus CANNOT be waived. 

The fees per transaction are as follows:

Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express = 2.95%

Venmo, GooglePay, ApplePay, PayPal = 2.95%

ACH/Electronic Check = $1.00

Cayuga County Water and Sewer Authority does not offer auto-pay options to ensure the safety of your sensitive information. 

You may contact your bank about bill pay options.

For Credit, Debit, and Wallet Payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, etc.) there is a $500 limit per transaction.

For ACH payments (Checking or Savings Accounts) there is a $2,500 limit per transaction.
