Water and Sewer have two different quarterly billing cycles. 

Water bills are sent out January 1st (Q4), April 1st (Q1), July 1st (Q2), and October 1st (Q3).

Sewer bills are sent out February 1st (Q1), May 1st (Q2), August 1st (Q3), and November 1st (Q4).

All bills are due on the last day of the respective month they are sent.

Bills are due by the last day of the month they are sent out. For example: If you receive your water bill on January 1st, the bill is due by January 31st.

If you mail a check or money order with the envelope is post marked on or before the last day of the month, we will honor your payment as on time.

After the due date, a 10% late fee is added to your bill if left unpaid.

Balances that are left unpaid by the end of the quarter, will automatically be applied to the next quarter's bill.

After the end of the fiscal year, if the amount in arrears is over $100, the amount is relevied and applied to your property taxes with an additional fee from CCWSA and Cayuga County.

When sending a check or money order please be sure to include the payment section of your bill or the account number(s) that are to be paid. 

Your water bill account number is five digits long (e.g. 12345) and your sewer bill account number is four digits prefixed with a letter (e.g. X1234).

2. Stop in and see us to pay with cash, check, money order, or credit/debit card.

3. Go to tinyurl.com/cayugawater to pay your water bill, or tinyurl.com/cayugasewer to pay your sewer bill with a credit card, debit card, or checking account. (Convenience Fees to Apply)

If you want to receive a physical receipt, please include a return addressed envelope with postage. Otherwise, we can send an emailed receipt upon request.
