During this time of "Schooling from Home" kindergarten, first and second grade students have been learning about a few Elements of Art. Specifically color, shape, and texture so far. They have been creating Found Object color wheels, creating Action Jackson paintings, making circles big enough to stand in, separating warm and cool colors, tracing shapes (working on those fine motor skills!) and have been outdoors on a texture hunt and making texture rubbings.
