727 AP Art History

Level 1 one year 1.0 credit Grades 11-12

Students will learn the story of art untold in its full historical, social, religious, economic, and cultural context, and deepen their understanding of art, architecture, painting, and sculpture. Due to its comprehensive coverage, strong emphasis is placed on rich, accurate art reproduction through text, slides and visits to museums. These works will be studied within their appropriate historical context.
