We highly recommend a Quinlan and Fabish rental instrument. Instruments are delivered to our school. Repairs and maintenance are free of charge. Please come and meet them and ask your questions at our rental night.
If you cannot attend rental night, please email Mrs.Savino so she can put your child on the band roster for 5th grade. Then visit the Quinlan & Fabish music store website and place your order or place your order over the phone. Se habla español.
We have limited number of school-owned instruments available. Students who receive free meals through the National School Lunch Program will be eligible for a school-owned instrument. This is a lower cost option. Instruments are first-come first-served. Contact Mrs. Savino savinoc@ccsd93.com or at 630-588-5251 to request a school-owned instrument.
Terrific! Please bring it to Rental Night so it can be checked by Quinlan & Fabish. Please purchase instrument supplies including a wire music stand and Standard of Excellence Book 1 at our rental night or online.
We understand some families prefer to buy instruments instead of renting. We highly recommend doing the four month introductory offer through Quinlan and Fabish before you buy. It gives you time to research and look for a quality instrument and if your child does not enjoy the instrument they initially picked or is struggling to be successful, they have the option to change instruments through the rental program. The four month introductory rental also includes free repairs and maintenance and often children will need a minor repair in those first few months of learning to play and care for their instrument.
Online instruments are often too good to be true. A quality instrument is crucial for successful learning. Please be aware that off brand instruments are most likely not repairable. Please choose wisely and refer to our “Instrument Choices” webpage on our website for recommended brands.
If you are finding something not on the list of recommended brands, please send the link to Mrs. Savino savinoc@ccsd93.com
Consider attending rental night and getting more detailed information about the new and used instrument prices available through Quinlan and Fabish. You are welcome to sit and speak with a representative even if you are not sure if you are going to rent or buy. You can also call their store and see if they have any used instruments available for purchase. 630-654-4111.
