The main role of Climate & SEL Coaching is to partner with staff members to create safe and compassionate learning environments that are based on a strong classroom climate and management plan, as well as develop best instructional practices for social and emotional learning (SEL) within the core.

Who can request coaching or supports?
The main focus is on classroom teachers for Tier 1/Tier 2 core learning environments. However, anyone can request supports or coaching that directly connect to Tier 1 or Tier 2 (support staff, specials, administrators, etc.).
NOTE: If you are needing support for a specific student, connect with your building Synergy Team and/or Student Services Team (SST) for problem-solving. If you are looking for supports for a student with an IEP within Tier 1, connect with the case manager and your Inclusion Facilitator.
