What do 3rd,4th, & 5th grader students learn in Art?
Creating: Using the Studio Habits, students explore a variety of tools and materials to create Art from their own ideas.
Connecting: Students engage in their own artmaking inspired by artists and concepts through demonstrations and skill builders.
Presenting & Responding: Students use Seesaw & Artsonia to take pictures of their Art, describe their process, and comment on each other’s creativity.
3-5th grades focus on creating Art from their own ideas. In the art studio, we may have a demonstration day, skill builder day, artist inspiration day, or studio day.
Depending on the focus in the art studio, students are able to make their own decisions based on what they would like to create and why.
