I am currently in my 10th year teaching at the elementary level and enjoy sharing my passion with students who appreciate the arts. I aspire to engage students in learning, creating, and connecting art to their everyday lives.

My interests involve creating my own art with many different mediums. My artistic practices include using oils, acrylic, ceramics, and fibers.

I graduated with a BFA degree from Eastern Illinois University in 2013. I also received my MFA in Art Education from EIU in 2018. I am a life-long learner and I look forward to becoming a better artist and educator in the process.
