The DLI Lottery was be finalized in January  2025.   Letters with results will be sent out the following week.

FAQs about Kindergarten registration: 

I have a student attending Junior Kindergarten this year, do they have to register this year for kindergarten?  No, Junior Kindergarten students will be screened in class and do not need to register as they registered and enrolled into JK the previous year.  If you are unsure what school they will attend the next year, please contact your Junior Kindergarten teacher.  

Kindergarten Screenings will be scheduled at registration.  Students need not be present at registration. 

Can I register my child anywhere in town? No, you need to register your kindergartener in the area school in which you reside. Exceptions are if your child is attending another school for a program such as Dual Language Immersion or ESL.  Register your child at the school where they received placement. The forms listed below will need to be completed and returned with the child's immunizations and proof of birth.  Paperwork is also available at registration.  Please read the forms carefully!  CCSD Acceptable Use Policy available to read here or at any school.  

Kindergarteners for 2025-2026 must be 5 years old by 9/15.  No paperwork will be accepted prior to the week of registration.

Kindergarten Screenings this year will be held at Stocktrail March 10th and 11th.  These will be scheduled during registration.  If your student attends Junior Kindergarten or Campbell County Children's Developmental Center, screenings will take place at those programs, in class.
