You will be taking the 7th Grade PSSA and the Algebra 1 Keystone test in the Spring.

Each day you are responsible for...

bringing your fully charged ipad, your school binder, a pencil, a stylus (optional), headphones, any completed homework assignments, and an attitude showing you are ready to participate in class. We will be using a composition book or a one subject notebook in class everyday.

Homework

We will have homework just about every night, including weekends. Homework counts as your responsibility grade. Completing your homework is 1 point, not completing it is 0. It will always be given on your iPAD.

We will use your iPAD in class every day!

It is very important to bring your iPAD every day and to have it completely charged. You should plug your iPad in every night before bed to be sure you have it fully charged. You are responsible to have a folder for each unit and to keep your files organized. You must also make sure you are saving your work. I will not accept the fact that you lost your work and give you credit. We will be using Google Classroom and Notability everyday so make sure you have them both and are familiar with using them.

Tests or quizzes...

will be announced a few days prior to test day. We will use both study guides and in- class review activities to help you prepare, but you should also plan on studying outside of school. Quizzes are worth 50 points and tests are worth 100 points.

We will use Study Island and IXL

...to help prepare you for the PSSAs and the Keystone Test. You will have weekly assignments to complete to help “fill in the gaps.” These will be graded assignments.

We will be using Google Classroom as a tool to communicate this year. The lesson for each day’s class and the homework will be posted there. This should be your first check point when you are absent. I will also use Sapphire to post each day’s lesson plans, grades, and take attendance each day.
