Homework

You will have homework just about every night.  Homework will either be on paper or on your ipad.  Your homework will count as 1 responsibility point and you will receive a 0 if you do not complete the whole assignment.  Homework is practice; as long as you are practicing, no matter if it is perfect or not, you will get credit!

Quizzes and Tests

You will have quizzes occasionally and tests at the end of each unit.  Quizzes will be around 50 points and tests will all be 100 points.  We will be using paper and your ipad for assessments.

Be Prepared!

Each day you are responsible for bringing your fully charged ipad, your school binder, a pencil, a stylus (optional), headphones, any completed homework assignments, and an attitude showing you are ready to participate in class.

Study Island/IXL

We will use Study Island and IXL to help prepare you for the PSSAs.  You will have weekly assignments to complete to help “fill in the gaps.”  These will be graded assignments.

We will be using the Community Portal on Sapphire and Google Classroom as our tools to communicate this year.  The lesson for each day’s class and the homework will be posted in both places. These places are where you should check when you are absent.
